Commission, Mini Plushie Alois Trancy

Another finished mini plushie!! And one that I’ve been dying to make. I’m proud to present the unruly Alois Trancy, commissioned by the sweet

Not only did I make one for her, but I ended up making one for my Kuroshitsuji collection as well. I got finished watching the dub not long ago, which gave me plenty of inspiration to work from. Though I was familiar with it through subs and whatnot, I can’t say I’m much more of a fan of a second season with a renewed perspective. Though, I do like Alois a lot. He’s such a cutie… in a hedonistic sort of way.

It was such a pleasure to paint those beautiful eyes, too. Such a lovely shade of blue, full of so much emotion. That’s always the great challenge with plushies, is capturing that essence. Working on such a complex character was just the sort of project I needed this past week.
