Plushie Bunny Ciel Phantomhive

Anybody recognize the theme to this cute little bunny? When Chapter 58 came out in the Kuroshitsuji manga, where Elizabeth his holding that stuffed rabbit that looked like Ciel, I had to have something like that!! I’ve seen the Funtom-type bunnies that are for sale around the internet, but that wasn’t quite right for me. So, I though I’d give something like this a try for myself.

This pattern comes from the Felt Friends From Japan how-to book by Naomi Tabatha. I haven’t ever worked with little animal shapes before, and saw this little guy when I was browsing through it. Tweaking the instructions a bit, I ended up with what I wanted.

I’m not so certain that this little guy will be up for commission (or that it will be requested ). But, I was thinking of adding it to the sort of prizes I donate to the contests over at If you guys think that’s a good idea, let me know!! In the meantime, I’ll be cuddling with my Ciel bunny while I start work on my latest commissions.

*NOTE* As for contest prizes, this rabbit can be characterized into any of the characters from Black Butler of the winners choice (such as Alois, Finny, Mei Rin, Pluto, etc…); right now, I’m looking for a feline pattern I like so I can have a Kitty Sebastian.
