Plushie Rukia, Magician outfit

Happy almost Halloween, everybody!! This year to celebrate, I decided to dress up my favorite anime/manga gal in a costume. So, after many days of working in between trades and commissions, I’m very pleased to present, for your entertainment, Miss Rukia Kuchiki, the amazing Magician!!

I had such a good time working on Rukia, and this one was no exception!! As cute as that little suit is, I loved putting her little accessories together. She had to have bunny ears, to go along with her tricks for the show, and her mini top hat came together without the benefit of a pattern. And, the hat bands in each shot are different. I couldn’t decide which one looked better, the white or the satin green, so I chose both. They’re pieced together to be removable, to give a bit of selection, to accent her outfit.

With her costume complete, she looks like she’s ready to go!! Provided a little bag for her candy, she’ll be set for the 31st…

…Too bad I’m not. I still have candy to buy for the kids that come to my door, if I can ever finish my projects and get out of the house!!
